Nature On Film, A Photojournal by Bob Epperly |
Lassen, located in nothern California, is not among the most popular of the national parks, but there are compelling reasons to visit it. Snow melts most of the summer keeping the lakes and streams full and the meadows green, decorated with wildflowers. There are also numerous pools of water and steam, leaching minerals from deep below the surface and spreading them over the nearby landscape.
